The design concept of the J series Compact Players was for affordable, compact office viewers to be used by producers, journalists and production staff. The result is three models that are ideal for personal, desktop use. At the same time, they have all the features required for viewing, logging and source feeding to servers or nonlinear editing systems. All J series Compact Players can playback Betacam SX™, Betacam SP™ and Betacam™ tapes.

HDCAM Compact Player (J-H1)

The J-H1 is an HDCAM compact player developed as a cost effective solution for HDCAM tape viewing, logging, and off-line editing.The J-H1 comes with unique features such as computer display output, i.LINK interface (optional), and multi field/frame rate operation. The J-H1 HDCAM cost-effective viewer machine is aimed for the HDTV operation environment.

HDCAM Compact Player (J-H3)

The J-H3 is a cost effective solution for HDCAM tape viewing, logging, and off-line editing applications. The unit offers computer display output for viewing of HDCAM tapes at XGA resolution on computer screens and projectors, optional i.LINK interface, and multi field/frame rate operation. As a member of the CineAlta product family, the J-H3 supports 24P playback operation, and is equipped with HD and SD serial digital interfaces for high quality monitoring and work tape copying. The unit also supports both large and small size HDCAM cassettes.

J Series Compact Player (J10)

J Series Compact Player with analog component video output and i.LINK interface. Provides Betacam , Betacam SP, and Betacam SX playback compatibility. Plays both large-size and small-size cassettes. The J-10's i.LINK interface opens the door to the DV World for Betacam users.

J Series Compact Player (J10SDI)

J Series Compact Player with SDI (Serial Digital Interface) and i.LINK interfaces. Provides Betacam , Betacam SP, and Betacam SX playback compatibility. Plays both large-size and small-size cassettes.

J Series Compact Player (J30)

J Series Compact Player with analog component video output and i.Link interface. Provides Betacam , Betacam SP, Betacam SX, MPEG IMX, and Digital Betacam playback compatibility. Plays both large-size and small-size cassettes.

Compact Player (J30SDI)

J series Compact Player with i.LINK & SDI output-Betacam, Betacam SP, Betacam SX, MPEG IMX, & Digital Betacam playback compatibility. Plays both large-size and small-size cassettes.
